Analisi dei vantaggi e della fattibilità dell’implementazione della tecnologia blockchain sul progetto Smart Mice


Analisi approfondita per la migliore proposta di implementazione sulla tecnologia blockchain. Sono stati approfonditi i vantaggi che la tecnologia apporta al modello di business, al settore turistico e ad alcune ipotesi di implementazione tecnica. Il progetto Smart Mice è il risultato di un’iniziativa finanziata (POR FER LAZIO 2014-2020 “Patrimonio Culturale e Turismo”) su cui ADAMANTIC ha avuto il ruolo di fornitore (esterno al gruppo finanziato), per lo sviluppo di una piattaforma web che sia il front end per una serie di strutture turistiche (hotel o location per eventi).

Realizzazione di proof of concept (POC) relativi all’applicazione della tecnologia Blockchain ai processi del GSE (Gestore Nazionale Servizi Energetici).

The GSE, in line with its mission oriented towards environmental sustainability and in the awareness that it will not be possible to count on the mechanism of economic incentive as the only way to achieve these goals, has started a phase of experimentation aimed at identifying possible applications of Blockchain technology in these areas. The application cases implemented by ADAMANTIC for the GSE were:

PoC1: Notarization of Thermal Account Data – the project has realized the necessary data notarization functions through blockchain technology to keep permanent the information characteristic of an energy verification process and automate in a certified way the verifications of the GSE Thermal Account Function;

PoC2: Simulation of certified Energy Communitiesthe project has produced a functioning system that allows the certified simulation in blockchain technology of the typical processes of the Energy Communities, providing for the interaction of the actors according to their role (Community Manager, Prosumer, Consumer, Producer, Supplier, etc.) in order to verify the correct functioning and the effective “green impact” of reward formulas through the use of smart contracts (chain codes) that feed the wallets of the actors according to their respective behaviors and the profitable trend of energy flows.

To meet energy saving and Open Data characteristics (mandatory in Public Administration contexts), the implemented architecture envisaged the use of two blockchains / DLTs:

  • Permissioned: Hyperledger Fabric (updating BESU node)
  • Permissionless: Ethereum

Data hybridization between the two platforms was performed through a merkle tree. The project also included the implementation of a mobile app for wallet verification and mobile operations by process actors.

Credit management for securitisation sale to investors through internal mathematical coin

Project aimed at the realization of a Blockchain prototype for the notarization of the sales data of securitised credit (the asset) and its conveyance to customers (investors) through a special mathematical coin associated with the asset. Creation of a web portal for the management of customers’ wallets. The aims of the PoC are based on the traceability of service exchange transactions between the actors in the process.

Features of the developed solution:

  • Implementation of a blockchain solution permissioned consumable via API for data certification;
  • Creation of a web portal for the management of customer (investor) wallets;
  • Creation of a Blockchain solution for the sale of the asset and its conveyance among customers (investors) through a special mathematical cone
  • Management of active and passive billing of the coin generated by the asset through a web portal that is able to manage customers’ wallets. Management of coinage in mathematical currency at the entrance of a new asset on the platform and the phases of purchase, sale and collection of the asset.

Feasibility study for a multivendor MarketPlace platform with transaction certification and internal coin  on user wallets in Blockchain technology

Implementation of a technical feasibility study relating to the construction of a multivendor Marketplace platform. Production of a Blockchain prototype of a Web marketplace system for the sale of goods and services in internal mathematical currency that can be re-evaluated over time, based on a specific predetermined algorithm.


  • in-depth market analysis on the various Blockchain platforms available (both Public and Private) with identification of the peculiar characteristics related to the purposes of the project;
  • Functional and technical analysis (high level) related to the development project with time gantt, necessary resources and costs;
  • Scouting on basic Open Source technology to be used for the realization of the Web Portal for the MarketPlace Multivendor;
  • Analysis of the certified management context of user wallets and the mechanism of conio of the internal mathematical currency;
  • Analysis of the interfacing of active and passive cycle processes (billing & credit) for the invoicing of goods and services sold in the marketplace and the customer’s internal IT systems;

Development of multivendor MarketPlace platform with transaction certification also via Mobile App and internal coin on user wallets in Blockchain technology.

Project for the creation of a MarketPlace Portal with blockchain notarization of transactions in the sale of goods and services in internal mathematical currency and FIAT currency (legal tender). The development is aimed at equipping the Client with a portal connected to a blockchain platform that manages the showcase offer and the sale of goods and services on a closed circuit of vendors participating in the commercial initiative.Part of the rewards and implementation logics of the cone has been managed directly in special chain codes (smart contracts) in blockchain and the wallets of users, as well as the features of the marketplace, have also been made available via Mobile App. The platform has a back office component on which the administrator (the Customer) can set some market logics and authorize the entry to new vendors as well as manage their data over time.

Project for the implementation of an automated system for the management of procedures related to corporate and documentary taxation

The aim of the project is to create an Application that is easy to use and allows the detailed management of all practices related to corporate taxation. There are automatic alert functions, notifications to and from external consultants, document site and workflow on busniess flows. The role of blockchain technology is particularly strategic because it makes the documentation secure, immutable and certifies the certain date of drafting; in some cases the digital signature of the manager too. For this reason, a first phase of the project provides for the implementation of the extra-chain tools (web and mobile apps) necessary for the management of all business flows, while a second phase, already planned, will provide for certification in blockchain technology. A connection to the Stark DataChain blockchain system (node network developed by ADAMANTIC on Hyperledger Fabric-Linux Foundation technology) will be implemented.

Feasibility study for implementation of certification functionality of intellectual property of (audiovisual) files saved in private clouds and development of a local agent


Project for the construction of a local agent, after conducting a specific feasibility study, called “Sharing audiovisual files through Blockchain technology” where to define the essential elements of the architecture identified as a technological solution to the proposed need.

The joint analysis with the customer concerned:

  • Analysis of the notarization features of the data related to the blockchain flow and reclaim of the private key of users following possible loss, through external Oracles;
  • In-depth study of the business model aimed at identifying the technological solution closest to solving the need both from the point of view of Blockchain technology and cloud storage;
  • Analysis of the splitting of complete files into decomposed and delocalized packages in the cloud with reconduction through an encrypted mapping in Blockchain;
  • Analysis of integration of the new architecture with the business flows already managed within the Customer’s IT.

The project was split up during construction. The creation of a Local Agent developed for the management of the splitting of the master files on multiple components delocalized in the cloud (decentralized management of the video master) and the management of the recomposition of the master file following specific user credentials was completed.

3- Development of multivendor MarketPlace platform with transaction certification and management of internal multi-cone on multiple wallets per user in Ethereum Blockchain technology.

Project for the creation of a MarketPlace Portal with Blockchain certification of transactions for the sale of goods and services in the B2B field with base currency in Euro and specific discount and incentive formulas calibrated on several mathematical discount currencies attributable to different cones of domestic currency.The need is to digitize and certify the business that is traditionally managed between commercial credit circuits in terms of discounts between members, enriching vendor sales tools and purchasing possibilities for circuit members. The Development has led to the implementation of a special marketplace platform and an ad hoc payment management system that regulates the interbank transit rules on multiple internal currencies each that have their own logic and percentages of interchange between wallets.


  • Use of a blockchain solution permissioned (Ethereum fork on customer nodes) consumable via API for data certification and payment management;
  • Containerization in Microservices via Docker/Kubernetes for encapsulation of business logic;
  • Creation of a Web portal solution for the sale of goods and services through multi internal mathematical currency and Euro with the possibility of preparing more sales windows to be associated with individual companies accredited on the circuit;

European Project for Precision Agriculture.

The main objective of the LIFE-WINEGROVER project is to reduce the final economic impact on the environment related to grape production by introducing new technologies for precision agriculture and to validate in the vineyards in Italy and Spain the technical performance of a solution based on the use of an innovative autonomous land rover and a remote-controlled aircraft, available on the market, equipped with multisensory instrumentation. ADAMANTIC’s contribution to the project concerns the technical development of the Web component. A specific data processing tool has been implemented. The tool will be available on the project website and will allow users and farmers around the world to obtain detailed information on the possibility of using precision farming technologies for their agricultural activities. Specifically, the tool will enable them to provide the main data related to their production and to obtain specific information on possible savings in economic and environmental terms. In this way, the instrument will also serve to collect significant data on vineyards in Europe and will represent a realistic and up-to-date database on the use of pesticides, nutrients and agricultural production.

MVP (Minimum Viable Product) development for baggage tracking in Blockchain through a specific IoT

Project for the realization of a prototype of luggage-tracking services supported by Blockchain technology, IoT and Microservices. The aim of the PoC is to establish connectivity between specific IoT devices and the Blockchain in order to notarize the information sent by the IoT itself and manage it via Mobile App.


  • Implementation of a permissioned Blockchain solution that can be consumed via API for data certification;
  • Containerization in Microservices via Docker/Kubernetes for encapsulation of business logic;
  • Finalization of active and passive cycle processes – billing & credit – for the invoicing of value-added services (insurance policies) and for the management of refunds on lost baggage with exposure of APIs that can be recalled from billing systems;
  • Development and enrichment of the Blockchain solution with a Mobile App in Ionic technology with native data for use on multidevices. Solution grafted on a specific IoT context with consequent certification of the data produced;

Investment experimentation project in agreement with the Customer for the certification and monitoring of the entire end-to-end supply chain in the production, distribution and consumption process of craft beer.

The project has extended the functionality of a web platform, with mobile app, for the management of the “Craft Beer” product supply chain by providing blockchain certification in order to:

  • uniquely identify the drums send out by the factory through a specific georeferenced IoT and a unique ID, readable through NFC and QR-code
  • digitize production starting from the recipe and recording all the next steps ( production, preparation per batch or single drum, distribution) until the plug attachment in the pub
  • check the timing and methodology of transport of the product, also having returns on consumption and liking
  • ensure the consumer of the quality of the product
  • activate market analysis and collect reviews from consumers and managers

Process actors use the system through a mobile app. All “signatures” are registered on Stark DataChain (developed by ADAMANTIC on a Hyperledger Fabric-Linux Foundation basis), with timestamp and geo-localization.

The working and productive platform (in the production version the connection to the blockchain is not currently activated) is easily verticalizable on different scenarios and has been prepared to expand business logics also through the use of smart contracts (chain codes).

Certificazione blockchain dei dati relativi ai consumi energetici: progetto “Micro Grid”

Il progetto di sperimentazione ha previsto una collaborazione con il Cliente finalizzata a potenziare il flusso aziendale attraverso il controllo e la certificazione dei dati in blockchain. I dati sono quelli inviati da IoT (Smart Metering) che ai fini della sperimentazione sono stati sostituiti con un’integrazione verso hardware Raspbian.

  • L’esportazione, l’importazione e l’archiviazione di wallet e relative chiavi segue gli standard Ethereum (Encrypted JSON ecc.).
  • Lo scambio avviene su token ERC-20.
  • La contabilità avviene sulla blockchain di Ethereum, e la parte su MySQL.
  • La parte del portafoglio e dell’interfaccia è in Node.js

Blockchain automation procedure in sending ALERT and TIP to users following algorithmic feedback on data collected by medical and fitness devices.

The project involved the implementation of a mobile app that collects information from different devices (wearable or medical). Through the implementation of a series of predispositions, the App is able to interface with all the most common IoT in the field of medical data collection (both fitness sensors and certified medical tools). Information collection is managed in order to be processed by an AI engine that analyzes information and track recurrences or predictions by returning an alert or other types of message to the user. This implementation provides for a perimeter of experimentation (outside the contract) where the management of the data collected by the App through an ad hoc Smart Contract represents the only connection point between the sensitive data of the user’s personal data and his medical data. In this way, the current flow of sending alerts and tips can take place without involving any physical subject in the process (unless the Smart Contract that in blockchain can be activated only by the user’s own private key).The development is currently in the experimental phase while the project is making the flow on extra chain architecture productive. Following the result of the experimentation, the Client has made himself available to propose the innovative solution in a productive environment.

The blockchain technology used is Stark DataChain (developed by ADAMANTIC on a Hyperledger Fabric-Linux Foundation basis).


Project to implement a Digital Asset Management platform.

The project aims to create a platform that allows to manage the peculiarities related to artistic assets. In particular, following the digitization of works of art, they can be catalogued and enriched at a historical level but also in the processes that over time will undergo, in exhibition locations, in certificates of originality etc. etc.


Project for the management and routing of booking requests by companies for category events.

The project is commissioned by a tourism player that groups about 150 members managers of prestigious accommodation facilities in the territory of Rome and Lazio. The portal must present the various offer windows and collect interest from visitors to manage their transparent addressing to the most suitable facilities according to the request. The project is bringing the web platform into production while in a second phase we will move to specific Blockchain Smart Contracts in order to certify the engagement processes and make the procedure transparent for all members.

Castro project: one city, many stories

The project was born from the collaboration of two companies: The Cooperative Sociale Zoe and Adamantic S.r.l. St and involves the realization of a virtual tour that connects the exhibits on display in the Archaeological Museum of Ischia di Castro. Through a PWA the visitor/tourist can visit the Park and the Museum led by a character, with whom he can dialogue and interact. The itinerary will be in ‘senior’ and ‘young’ version. Inside the Museum a selection of exhibits will come together and lead us to visit the Park virtually and physically. In addition to the 3 itineraries, 5 episodes will be created: the characters of the different eras will entertain the visitor with stories, anecdotes and curiosities. Through the Chatbox the characters will be able to answer the visitor’s questions. The tour will be enriched by 3D videos, 360° photos, photos, additional texts, drone video footage, plastics, MP3 and LIS.


Realization of web interfacing towards Ethereum with ERC-20 token

MVP project for the creation of a Web Portal for the dissemination of real estate investment offers conveyed by crypto currency on the Blockchain Ethereum platform, and the notarization on Ethereum public Blockchain of economic transactions in crypto currency (ETH)


  • Implementation of a Web Portal composed of: vertically scrolling landing page for the presentation of the project, user area for investors, back office for platform administrators;
  • Development of Ethereum Smart Contract tokens according to the ERC-20 standard;
  • Development of an ERC-20 token smart contract “factory” on Ethereum, which allows with few input parameters to create new smart contracts that manage ERC-20 tokens;
  • Connecting the portal with smart contracts, in order to manage from a back-office area all the phases of token creation and management, the transfer of tokens to investor wallets, and hashing and notarization of documentation associated with tokenized projects;
  • Realization in the portal of a user area also linked to smart contracts on Ethereum, here you can see all the projects on which the user has invested, the relative tokens purchased, the returns and other information attached, and where possible you can consult the projects presented by the platform and invest in a few steps.
  • Connecting the portal with payment gateways PayPal (for FIAT currency payments) and Coinbase Commerce (for cryptocurrency payments);

Project of realization Bike sharing platform.The platform includes integrated features aimed at all actors in the sharing process:

In particular, the customers of the platform, i.e. the users who will use the rental service, will have an IOS mobile or Android application, through which they can use all the features provided by the system:
